Compliance Tip - Online or Kiosk Renewal Now Available to CDL Drivers.

Under a recent change made by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, CDL drivers who do NOT have a hazmat endorsement are able to renew their licenses either online or using the kiosk as long as the driver’s CDL is in a valid status AND the driver has a valid medical certificate on file.  Drivers with a current medical exam do not have to get an additional vision screening because the exam includes a vision test. Drivers with a hazmat endorsement are not eligible to use these options.
